  • How long does it take?
  • On most orders, you can expect your order within 5 business days after you approve the proof. For large orders or orders that require a complex set up, your order may take up to 20 business days to complete and ship. We strive to turnaround as quick as possible, but we would rather promise it in five days and deliver in three than the other way around

  • How do I place an order?

You can select a stock design from our extensive online catalog, select the garment you want to sew it on, select the font size for the lettering – if there is lettering required – and finally the thread color for the lettering. Once you have all of those items, complete the online form and submit it! If you have a custom order, just send us the design you want to have embroidered and complete our "Art work" form and submit it. You can then select the garment you want to have embroidered and the quantity. We will send you a quote based on that information.

  • Do you have a catalog of designs?

Yes! Just click on the link to "Stock designs" and select from there.

  • How much does it cost?

Embroidery prices are most often based on the amount of stitches in the design. At RSP, any stock design that has less than 10,000 stitches is priced at $10. Prices for higher stitch counts designs follow this basic format: # of stitches ‘/. 1000 and then multiplied by $1.25. For example, a 30,000 stitch design divided by 1000 is 30. 30 x $1.25 = $37.50. Add this amount to the cost of the garment and you will have the total price.

  • Can I send you a picture to be embroidered?

Yes. We cannot guarantee that we can digitize it, but we will evaluate it and discuss it with you.

  • What kind of clothing can I order to be embroidered?

We embroider polo shirts, oxford shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, caps, towels, onesies and other items for children and infants For anything else, give us a call, we enjoy a challenge.

  • Can I send you my own clothing to be embroidered?
Yes, with a caveat. While we will do the utmost to maintain the integrity of your garment and do a top-notch job, we do not guarantee to replace any items that may become damaged in the embroidery process and are not purchased through RSP.
  • How many thread colors do I have to select from?

We keep 15 colors in stock. They are Kelly green, brown, light blue, light gray, gray, dark gray, white, black, red, gold, royal blue, dark blue, light green, tan, and pink. However, we can provide you a palette of many other thread colors. Specialty thread colors are an additional cost of $10 each for the first three, and $5 per color after the first three.

  • Is there a setup fee?

Most orders will not require a set up fee, unless digitizing is involved. Complex orders or delicate fabrics may require set up fees, but we will advise you of that and inform you of any other special considerations before we take your order.

  • Can you send me a sample before I order?

Because of the extensive preparation involved in developing an embroidery order, we don’t provide samples before an order is placed. However, once you have discussed your order with us and decided you want to go forward, you can submit the deposit to confirm. Once confirmed, we will sew out samples of your design email photos for you to proof. Once you are satisfied with the how the design looks, we will begin production.

  • Do I get to see what it looks like at some point in the process?

  • What is the size of the embroidery that I can order?
Designs can be small enough to fit on the collar of an oxford shirt or large enough to fit on a jacket back. Most designs for the left chest location of a garment are usually 3in x 3in. Some chest-location designs may be as large as 4in x 4in. Cap designs are usually no higher than 2.5in and no wider than 4in. Jacket back designs can be as large as 9 x 10.
  • What font types can I chose from for the lettering?
We have 10 different fonts from which to select. Click here to see the font options that we have in stock. If you require a specific font, please be prepared to give us the exact name of the font. We will do what we can to duplicate it.
  • What is digitizing?

Digitizing is the process we use to convert an image that you send us into a digital image that the embroidery machine can interpret. Digitizing tells the embroidery machine exactly where to put each stitch and which color of thread goes where.

  • What does "camera-ready" art mean?

This means that you submit a digital image that you want to have embroidered and in a recommended format. If it has to be resized, we recommend you submit your art as vector file, usually a .cdr or .eps file. If you are submitting a .jpg or .tif, then we prefer to have the image submitted in a high resolution, at least 300 dpi and that the image is to scale. In other words, we need it sent to us at the exact size it is to be reproduced. Beware of files downloaded from websites, they are often to small to show enough detail.
