What is an Airshow?

For the Air show Fanatic, the answer is not as simple. For some, an Air Show is a fantastic place where we can indulge childhood fantasies, getting up close to  a P-51,listening to the distinctive roar of its magnificent Merlin engine on a high speed, low altiitude pass. For others it's a portal into a high tech world, looking at the fastest plane ever built (the SR-71) that was built over 40 years ago. Duck in awe as a Blue Angel or Thunderbird does a sneak pass from behind you, or have your heart in your mouth at the wing-walker dangling from the top wing of a Stearman flying upside down. Watch one of the All-Time greats like Patty Wagstaff or Sean Tucker fly straight up, spinning and twisting before sliding backwards towards the earth.
